OPERATIONS
On-the-ground presence in Angola, Ghana and in Equatorial Guinea, assets in two Gulf of Guinea producing areas and an ambition to keep exploring.
RoyalGate Energy signed its first exploration agreements in Equatorial Guinea in 2013 and operations in the country are core to our strategy. Along with our partners at the Ministry of Mines, Industry and Energy we plan to develop stranded gas assets in Block Z and we are exploring Block Y.
We entered Ghana in 2014, beginning negotiations with the government on the takeover of the Offshore Cape Three Points South East block to the southeast of the legendary Jubilee field. In Angola, RoyalGate Energy set up an office in 2014 and is seeking opportunities in the competitive offshore area.
Operations in Angola, Ghana and Equatorial Guinea are supported by our Houston and London offices. The expansion of RoyalGate Energy’s projects will be based on our strategy of maintaining prospect inventory to keep ahead of drilling schedules, avoiding capital flight and keeping our goal of a more sustainable African energy industry firmly in sight.
